Trained in performance design (B.A Hons), Neuroaesthetics (MSc) and Psychology (PhD), I am a practitioner & researcher in visual and performing arts, neuroaesthetics and somaesthetics. As a co-founder of multidisciplinary arts collective Ludic, I have initiated various workshops and performances in Seoul, Bucharest, London, Den Haag and Gothenburg - on acknowledging and unlearning one’s cognitive and behavioural schemata through exploring one’s body in action. I have completed my PhD in Psychology (Science) at Goldsmiths, University of London, on the topic of Social Neuroaesthetics, while being part of an ERC-granted project, NEUROLIVE, as a research assistant at the Movement and Performance Group, UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience. I am currently an Associate Lecturer at the Psychology department in Goldsmiths and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at NeuroLandscape. In parallel, I have worked as a Lead Researcher for a neuroaesthetics studio, KINDA, using mobile electroencephalogram (EEG) to capture the impact of various experience design elements on users’ well-being.
